Germany and India 2011-2012: Infinite Opportunities’ and the 7th edition of ‘Voices from the Waters International Travelling Film Festival’ are inviting entries to a short film competition on ‘Water in the City’.

As one of the key collaborators of the festival, the Goethe-Institut/Max Mueller Bhavan Bangalore is supporting this year’s short film competition on water in the City.

The organisers invite participation in this international competitive film-making project with renowned film personalities — Til Passow from Germany and Sagar Ballary from Bangalore.

The workshop will be conducted from August 27 to September 2 and will be complementary to the 7th edition of ‘Voices from the Waters International Travelling Film Festival’ from August 31 to September 2.

The subject is ‘Water in the City’ and the duration is one to three minutes. The format should be digital. The deadline for entries is June 15. The selection of films will be done by renowned documentary film-makers from Bangalore who have made films on water and whose films were part of the earlier ‘Voices from the Waters International Film Festivals’ and scholar activists on water issues who have also tried their hand at making films and photo exhibitions on water.
