Under the ambitious ‘Sakaala’ scheme, DK has received 80,911 applications in the last two months, of which, 69,713 applications have been disposed.
According to a press release, in Bantwal taluk as many as 8,655 applications were received, of which, 7,071 applications were cleared so far. In Puttur taluk, as many as 14,665 applications have been received and 13,489 have been cleared.
Mangalore taluk has received highest of 49,022 applications, of which, 42,784 applications have been disposed.
Sullia taluk has received lowest of 3,740 applications, of which, 2,778 applications have been disposed so far. The KSRTC has received only 20 applications and 16 have been disposed. Similarly, RTO office in M’lore and Puttur, have got 22,454 applications, of which, 21,468 have been disposed.
