MBS course from Bangalore University

A novel course introduced by Bangalore University is its five-year Integrated Course in Business Education i.e. Master of Business Studies (MBS).

It is an integration of both bachelor’s and master’s programmes of Commerce and Management courses in one discipline, i.e. Business Studies.  It is an interdisciplinary course, wherein different disciplines such as Commerce, Accounting, Management, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Application, Law, etc., are brought together. The course is supplemented with basic skills during the study and after graduation, students can take up opportunities in the industry as well as in academic institutions. The final semester is solely devoted for a project in a large-scale industry where the students are expected to equip themselves with research skills. This helps students involve themselves in solving the problems faced by the industry and society.  

Interested candidates who have passed PUC of Karnataka or an equivalent degree with not less than 50 per cent marks in the aggregate (45 per cent for SC and ST), may apply to: The Coordinator (MBS), School of Business Studies, Old Law College Building, Palace Road, City Campus, Bangalore University, Bangalore-560 001 before June 15, 2012 and with a fine (Rs.100) by June 20, 2012 in the prescribed form.
