BBMP bans protest on its premises

The Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has re-issued a circular banning all kinds of protests and dharnas on the premises of the BBMP central office by the public and its representatives.

Since the protests hinder smooth functioning of the BBMP central office, the Palike has suggested that they should be held at Banappa Park, instead.

BBMP has also written to the police requesting them not to give any permission for protests on its office premises. They have also requested for security on the premises to prevent any eventualities.
