JOIN USOfficers of the Central Crime Branch raided the houses of more than 100 rowdy sheeters in the City and arrested over 34 notorious rowdies on Sunday.
Following the orders of the City Police Commissioner, B G Jyotiprakash Mirji, the CCB formed five teams and conducted the operation. Imran, 34, from Shivajinagar; Sridhar, 29, from Govindraj Nagar; Rohith alias Onte from Lakkasandra and Nataraj Sharma from Hanumanth Nagar are among the 34 detained rowdies.
According to police, the arrested were involved in more than nine cases of crime, including theft, cheating, dacoity, assault and attempt to murder.
The police searched the houses and recovered documents and other evidence. Information about the detained, in the form of personal data were collected.
