JOIN USPolice have arrested one person in connection with motorbike thefts in Bangalore, Tumkur and other districts in Hassan on Wednesday. The arrested has been identified as Nagaraja of H Mylenahalli. Police recovered 12 motorbikes from the accused.
A team led by DCIB inspector C D Jagadish nabbed Nagaraja at Koravangala gate in the taluk. Upon interrogation Nagaraja revealed that he had stolen vehicles for the past five months. SP Amit Singh has awarded Rs 5,000 as cash prize for DCIB inspector Jagadish.

Police have arrested another person in connection with a dead body found at Salagame lake recently. The body of Dinesh hailing from Chikkakondagula was found in the Salagame lake in May. Investigations revealed that Dinesh had been murdered and his body was later dumped into the lake.
Three persons - Chethan, Gagan and Sudarshan - were arrested and Rs 2.26 lakh was recovered from them. Another accused Sathish was also arrested on Tuesday. Police said that Sathish is alleged to have murdered Dinesh as the latter was having an affair with the former’s relative.
