“Diabetes, tuberculosis, cancer and other diseases are costing most precious human resources in our country. This is going to dent the image of India in global scenario. Central government has designed a programme to make renal and heart donation, more easier than now,” he said.

Emphatically stating that the central government was willing to support medical organisations that were stressing on carrying out positive research, including that of JSS, Bandopadhyay said it was imperative that the organisations worked on newer innovations.

Principal of JSS Medical College Dr H Basavanagoudappa, JSS University Registrar Dr B Manjunatha, Prof and head of department of bio chemistry Dr Suma and others were present on the occasion.
