The Andhra Pradesh CBI has issued summons to former minister G Janardhan Reddy’s wife Laxmi Aruna on Thursday.
Reddy is in CBI custody in connection with the probe into illegal mining by his Obalapuram Mining Company (OMC).
The CBI officials had visited Reddy’s residence on Tuesday and as his wife was out of station had returned without questioning her.
On Thursday, the officials accompanied by women constables of Cowl Bazaar visited the house and handed over the summons.
She has to be present at the CBI office at Nampalli in Hyderabad on July 10.
