Ramya offers to apologise

The Association decided to withdraw its decision to boycott Ramya’s movies as she offered to tender an apology. The matter was resolved in a meeting convened by Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce. Speaking to presspersons after the meeting, Ramya said “I never intend to hurt anybody. If my remarks had hurt anybody including Sudeep and the dancers, I seek their apology”. She added that her comments during the shooting of the film Just Math Mathalli were misconstrued.

Karnataka Choreographers and  Dancers’ Association had alleged that the actor used foul language on dance artists during the shoot of a song for the movie couple of days ago. It had decided to boycott Ramya’s movies.

The Chamber held the meeting under the leadership of producer and vice president Rockline Venkatesh. The meeting went on for more than four hours. Actor-director Sudeep, Dancers’ Association president Rajesh Brahmavara, producer of Just Math Mathalli Shankaregowda, producers K Manju, Suresh Gowda attended the meeting.
