Naxals in Shishila?

A group of six people said to be naxals were spotted at Shishila in Beltnangady on Tuesday evening. The team had four armed men and two women.

According to sources, the team clad in khakhi colour uniform had visited a SC colony situated in the periphery of forest at Ambudedange.

It was said that the team had visited a house in the colony and had said that they were Naxals and one need not worry over it. “We will visit again,” they reportedly told the villagers.

According to villagers, Naxals would have visited Shishila via Kuthloor-Neriya-Gandibagilu-Amedikallu-Kallaru route. This is the first time that the Naxals have made their appearance in Shishila.
