<p> After Bulandshahr and Ballia, yet another incident reflecting the dismal state of Uttar Pradesh's healthcare has come to light with under trained staff carrying out postmortem in a hospital here.<br /><br /></p>.<p>According to local reports, one of the postmortems was carried out in the open allegedly by class IV employees.<br /><br />Chief Medical Officer Subodh Kumar Tiwari insisted that doctors have always been present during all postmortems. He, however, said that a probe would be ordered to check whether class IV employees were indeed involved.<br /><br />He dismissed making much about postmortem being carried out in the open, saying there are times when autopsies of extremely decayed bodies need to be done in daylight.<br /><br />An under trained pharmacist and a sweeper were shown by TV channels administering injections and stitching wounds in the emergency ward of the district hospital in Ballia. While in Bulandshahr, a class IV employee was found carrying out stitches on the wounds of an injured child and another one giving an injection to a patient.</p>
