Women's 'huli vesha' group swears not to perform again

Speaking to media here on Friday, a member of the Mandali Vidya Latha informed that they received appreciations as well as criticisms for venturing into the male dominion of tiger dance for the first time in the history. She brushed away the accusations that they had received huge funds for staging the show. “In fact we struggled to pay the dues,” she informed. The mandali had all support from the Krishna Mutt, Paryaya Puthige seer and the Shiroor Mutt seer. Shiroor seer Laxmivaratheertha Sripada assured to bear the expenses for the costumes and dress materials. But he is yet to keep his promise.
