<p>A five-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her neighbour and a 10-year-old boy was allegedly sodomised by a sweeper in the city in separate incidents, police said on Monday.<br /><br /></p>.<p>The minor was sexually assaulted at west Delhi’s Narela on Sunday night by her 20-year-old neighbour, who was arrested later, police said on Monday. <br /><br />The victim was alone at her house when accused Deepak entered the house and fled after committing the crime.<br /><br />The victim’s family members approached police soon after the incident and the accused was arrested after her medical report confirmed rape.<br /><br />Class 5 student sodomised<br /><br />In the second incident, a class 5 student, was sodomised near his house in Uttam Nagar of west Delhi.<br /><br />Accused Vinod of Raghubir Nagar was standing near a shop when the victim went there to buy some medicines. <br /><br />He took the boy in an isolated area and sexually assaulted him. “Vinod also gave the victim Rs 5 and asked him to keep his mouth shut,” said a police officer.<br /><br />The boy went back to his house and told his parents about the incident. <br /><br />His parents approached police. The accused was arrested after the boy’s medical examination.<br /><br />Vinod is employed as a sweeper in the area. <br /></p>
