Given the French connection of the event, Bangalore’s swinging crowd made it sure that they matched the occasion. Choicest of clothing, best of the jewellery brands and nothing less than a four-inch heel helped elevate the party to new heights.
The best of branded wine, cheese and other shorteats came in unlimited quantities. So what if it was a week day. The page three people (P3P) had turned up in full strength and had dragged their friend’s friend’s friends as well. They posed and posed to the constant clicking of the cameras.

Most of those at the party vied with each other to show that they are indeed die-hard devotees of the brand. “I regularly shop here it’s just that today I am not carrying my a bag I bought from here,” said a socialite.

Yes, most people who had been invited were among the rich and famous in the City to whom the products were more than just a brand. They seem to share a special bond with it. Ritu Mallya said that she shopped here very often. “I love the feel and texture of the products at at this store. I even pick up gifts for my friends from here,” she says. Manjusha too chipped in saying she would never think twice about shopping at the store. “It has an identity all of its own,” she observed.
