Finally, 49 villages to get power connection

Works will be undertaken at an estimated cost of Rs 5.07 crore, stated a press release from MESCOM.

A total of 80 villages in the taluk do not have electricity connection. Detailed plan and estimation for the 49 villages will be prepared soon. The scheme, which provides electricity freely to poor, will solve the power supply shortage problem to certain extent. About 1,659 families in the taluk will be benefited with the scheme.
