The Team was also divided on various issues including targeting new President Pranab Mukherjee. Majority of the members of Core Committee of India Against Corruption remained absent.
According to sources, many of the anti-graft activists, including Medha Patkar, have decided to abstain due to Team Anna’s decision to associate with yoga guruRamdev.
Arvind Kejriwal, who was away at a court hearing on his remarks calling MPs “criminals and rapists,” later defended his attack. Prasant Bhushan, however, denied that Team Anna has changed its course on Lokpal. He said the demand for probe against 15 Union ministers is part of Lokpal agitation.
