26 students injured

 As many as 26 students were injured after the bus they were travelling in rammed into a tree at New Friend’s Colony in south-east Delhi on Tuesday.

 The bus was carrying students of Agriculture College Vellore in Tamil Nadu, who were in Delhi for an excursion. After driving for entire Monday night, the driver was sleepy and hit a tree, police said.They were coming from Agra. The injured were taken to the AIIMS trauma centre and discharged after preliminary treatment. “Bus driver Rohtash, 50, was arrested for negligent driving,” said a police official.
