Woman rescued from GB Road

 A 27-year-old woman was rescued from brothel on GB Road after her mother approached Delhi Police in search of her daughter, police said.

 Police said a woman, who hails from Krishna in Andhra Pradesh, approached Kamla Market police station saying her daughter, aged around 27, is confined at the brothel against her wishes and desires to be freed from there.  “A police team conducted a raid at the Kotha in GB Road and rescued the woman,” said a senior police officer.  During investigation, the rescued woman told police that she belonged to a poor family and was lured of better job prospects in Delhi.After bringing her to Delhi, she was sold at brothel.
