Bidari's office gets hi-tech telephone exchange

Now, the exchange is supported by PRA (Primary Rate Access) system wherein each single line can have an option of carrying more than 30 channels. “Apart from this, we have also upgraded the technology wherein video conferencing and data sending will be at its best and easy,” he said.

Chain snatched
Two motor-cycle borne miscreants snatched Rs 25,000 worth gold chain from a Jayamahal resident on Wednesday. The complainant, Ugma Devi Dugar told the JC Nagar police that around 10.30 am, when she was walking near Hopcoms, two culprits came from the opposite direction and snatched away her gold chain.

A similar incident was reported in Basaveshwaranagar. Jayamma, a resident of Saraswathipura in Mahalaxmi Layout lost her gold chain worth Rs 45,000 near Shankar Mutt. Around 2 pm, she alighted from a BMTC bus and was heading home when the incident took place. In another incident, miscreants snatched Rajalaxmi's gold chain weighing around 80 gms on 16th Cross, 12th Main, Malleswaram. The victim had gone to medical shop.
