JOIN USA youth and a homemaker were robbed in separate incidents in the City on Tuesday night.
According to police, two persons robbed a homemaker of her gold chain worth Rs 1.10 lakh in Chennammanakere Achukattu on Tuesday night. The victim, Triveni, a resident of Lakshmanna Garden, was returning home from a temple when the suspects followed her on a bike, snatched her gold chain and fled. In another incident, three men robbed a youth of his valuables in Chandra Layout. The victim, Dinesh, a resident of Nagarbhavi, consumed liquor and had dinner at a bar and restaurant and sat on the pavement for a smoke. A gang arrived in a car, stopped near the pavement and demanded cigarettes from Dinesh. When Dinesh said he did not have any, the miscreants snatched his gold chain weighing 16 gram, gold rings, a cellphone and Rs 1,000 and fled.
