Though Nana has acted in a Tamil film, this will be his debut in a Kannada movie.
Metrolife came to know that director Ramesh, along with producer Siddaraju, went thrice to meet Nana to convince him. Speaking to Metrolife, Siddaraju says, “He is such a talented actor that we couldn’t think of anyone else for the role. We went to Mumbai, Goa and Bhopal where he was shooting for a Hindi movie called Rajneethi which also stars Katrina Kaif. We had a word with him and he had asked for a script in English.”
Revealing that Nana has a crucial role in the movie, he adds, “It’s a character role which lasts for about 25 minutes. After reading the script he has agreed to come and shoot for 10 to 15 days.” So when will Nana be seen in the City? “The shoot will start only in November and we are yet to finalise the dates with him,” he informs.
Yaksha will also see actors like Atul Kulkarni, Master Hirannaiah, Kalabhavan Mani, Pranithi and Yogesh. The music is said to be scored by Anup.
