JOIN USModel-turned-actress Esha Gupta, who will be seen sharing screen space with Emraan Hashmi for the second time in Vikram Bhatt’s Raaz 3, is full of praises for the actor and admits that she looks up to him as a mentor.
The 23-year-old made her acting debut in Jannat 2 opposite Emraan. “I love Emraan. I was really scared of him during Jannat. As a person, he is very quiet. During Jannat, he used to give his scenes like a piece of cake and I would be looking at him. The moment he used to react, I was, like, tongue tied. I had no idea what I was doing. But he is really sweet,” Esha gushes.
“He would tell me to calm down and say, ‘I have done worse than you in my first few films’. I thought he was joking. But it was during the promotions of Jannat that Mahesh Bhatt told me that in his initial films, Emraan used to give 30 to 40 takes. I was like, I am not that bad then. He is quite like my mentor and he has given me a lot of tips,” she adds.
Post, Jannat 2, life has become hectic for Esha considering the number of films she has on her hands –— Raaz 3, Prakash Jha’s Chakravyuh and one more film with Bhatt camp. But she seems to be handling all the work quite well. “I am maintaining myself the same way.
The only thing that has changed is that life has become more hectic. I can’t sit idle. But I must say, life is only getting better and better,” she claims.
Raaz 3 is a sequel to Raaz and Raaz: The Mystery Continues, where Esha will be seen alongside Emraan and Bipasha.
