Participating in an interactive session on the topic ‘Legislative stimulus to commerce and industry’ at Kanara Chamber of Commerce and Industry Hall here on Wednesday, the minister found it necessary that the laws in the nation be changed for a better tomorrow. “Reform or you’ll burst,” he added.

“Many a time it is the fault of the legislature that hold back reforms,”  he declared and elaboratd on the Land Acquisition Act that will be tabled at the parliament in its next session. “The Land Acquisition Act will protect the farmers,” he claimed.

Earlier, Moily launched the new logo and website of KCCI. President of KCCI Srinivas S Kamath submitted a memorandum to the minister. Replying to his requests, the miniter assured that he will see that a Food and technology park is sanctioned to Mangalore.
KCCI Vice President GG Mohandas Prabhu, Treasurer Ahmed Bava, Secretaries Chandrakanth Rao and Latha Kini were present on the occasion.
