<p> M V Kumar, 32, a second division assistant with the Karnataka Housing Board (KHB) allegedly committed suicide by jumping in front of a running train near Yelahanka bypass on Thursday.</p>.<p><br />Kumar was a resident of Yelahanka Satellite Town and was employed at the KHB head office at Cauvery Bhavan. His wife, Pushpavalli, also works with the Housing Board at its Yelahanka branch as a typist. Kumar from Bellary had married Pushpavalli two years ago. The couple had no children.</p>.<p><br />Kumar’s brother-in-law, Prasad, told the police that the couple were happily married and he did not know the reason for Kumar taking the extreme step. </p>.<p><br />In another incident near the Marathalli bridge, a 35-year-old man was killed after he was knocked down by a moving train while he was crossing the track. </p>.<p><br />The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained. The body has been shifted to Bowring Hospital mortuary, said the Byappanahalli railway police.</p>.<p><br />In the third incident, Shankaraiah, 65, a resident of Garudacharpalya, was killed after he was hit by a train near Mahadevapura. </p>.<p><br />Two killed in accidents <br />Two persons were killed in separate road accidents in the City since Wednesday night.</p>.<p><br />P Charmesh, 23, who was injured when a two-wheeler hit him while crossing the road in front of Coupon Mall near Garvebhavipalya on Hosur Road Wednesday evening, died Thursday morning at Nimhans.</p>.<p><br />The accident occurred around 7.45 pm on Wednesday when the victim was crossing the road. Charmesh was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital from where he was shifted to Nimhans. </p>.<p><br />In another accident Thursday morning on Kodigehalli Road in Hebbal, Periyannan, 50, a labourer and a resident of Kodigehalli, was killed on the spot after a tipper knocked him down from his bicycle.<br /></p>
