<p>The management of Sri Bhagandeshwara Temple in Talacauvery has decided to enforce a dress code for visitors from October 1.</p>.<p><br />Speaking to Deccan Herald, Manu Muthappa, president of the committee, said the decision was taken at a meeting held recently. “Talacauvery is not only a tourist destination but also a religious place. The visitors have to follow and maintain the sanctity of the place. Tourists clad in skirts, capri pants (above ankle) and shorts will be prohibited from entering the temple premises,” he said.</p>.<p> Men should wear shirt and trousers while women are required to wear saree or chudidhar. They may also wear jeans, keeping in mind the sanctity of the place. A notice will be put on the entrance of the temple listing out the dress code. The hotels and homestays in the district will also be issued a circular in this regard. </p>
