Yuvi, Bhajji at NCA

Even as the Indian Test squad battled it out against New Zealand at the M Chinnaswamy stadium, seven Indian cricketers in the World T20 squad were getting in shape for the premier event to be held in Sri Lanka from September 18.

Yuvraj Singh, Harbhajan Singh, Laxmipathy Balaji, Ashok Dinda, Rohit Sharma, Manoj Tiwary and Irfan Pathan went through their paces at the National Cricket Academy here on Friday.
The seven players, who landed in batches -- barring Pathan who has been at NCA for a while -- on Friday, had their fitness assessed at the gym indoors.

Weather approving, they will have nets at the KSCA ‘B’ ground from Saturday until the scheduled end of the second Test (September 4).
