<p>The Chamarajpet police have arrested two persons when they were allegedly trying to sell an antique idol of Lord Krishna, in front of Mutturaya Swamy temple at Sirsi Circle. <br /><br /></p>.<p>Acting on a tip-off, the police arrested Rizwan, 21, and Nagraj, 28, both from Ananthpur district of Andhra Pradesh and seized the idol, which is estimated to be worth Rs 75 lakh. <br /><br />The police said during the interrogation, the two revealed that Rizwan, a gas welder in a village in Ananthpur, stole the antique idol from the village temple a month ago.<br /><br /> He came to the City along with Nagaraj, an electrician, to sell the idol.</p>
