Differently abled makes record for 'longest tongue'

Suresh Nayak (40) from Puttur who has been suffering with Down's syndrome since birth has been enrolled in the Asia book of records and India book of Records for having the world's longest tongue, claims his brother Umesh Nayak.

His tongue measures 10 cm from tip to lip, he added, reports DHNS from Mangalore.

Speaking to media persons, Umesh Nayak said that his brother Suresh Nayak’s name has also been enrolled in Limca Book of Records for having unique memory power. Suresh has identified 518 people by only looking at their phone numbers in 1 hour 12 minutes, he informed.

Suresh has a unique palm with four digits and four division lines. His name has been enrolled in the Limca Book of records for having 'Unique palm'.

Suresh's mental age is 3.6 years and social age in 6.6 years. In spite of suffering from Down's syndrome, he is working as a telephone operator at Sriram Shares in Puttur.

He plays 'thala' in Sri Lakshmivenkatramana Temple and also is an active volunteer in health insurance awareness camps and medical camps, informed Umesh Nayak.
