President to inaugurate Suvarna Soudha

President Pranab Mukherjee will inaugurate the Suvarna Vidhan Soudha (SVS), before October 15.

However, the exact date of the programme will be announced in the next four days, Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar said here on Wednesday.

 He extended an invitation to Mukherjee during his visit to New Delhi. Mukherjee was impressed by the work on the Suvarna Vidhana Soudha, as he glanced the pictures of the building presented to him.

“We have been communicated that the date for the inauguration would be scheduled in the next four days,” he added.

Inauguration will be followed by a public meeting and a joint session of the State Legislature.
