He is one of those actors who is ready to experiment with his looks in every movie. Be it his hair, beard or his weight, Tharun Chandra says he doesn’t mind going that extra mile to get into the character.

No wonder in each one of his films, he manages to keep his audience guessing about his looks. With a series of movies in his kitty now, the actor talks about his looks in the movie Padde Padde, directed by Vijay Anand.

Playing the role of a music composer, one of the looks that Tharun will be donning is of a rockstar. But isn’t it very similar to that of Ranbir Kapoor’s in the movie ‘Rockstar’? Tharun is quick to clarify that the movie has nothing to do with it.

“The first time we did the photoshoot, many expressed that the look is very similar to that of Ranbir’s in ‘Rockstar’. But most rockstars dress like this. The movie, however, has nothing to do with the Bollywood movie. It’s a very different film and I am sure people will enjoy it,” says Tharun.

This is the first time Tharun is playing the role of a music composer and to get into the skin of the character, the actor actually spent time with the composer of the film itself.

“I’m excited to play a rockstar. One can say that my inspiration has been the music composer of the movie, Satish Arun. He is a newcomer but his music is simply brilliant and I can’t wait for the people to hear his tunes,” he adds.
Tharun says that he has no insecurity in breaking his on screen image in each film. In fact, he feels that the change has always been welcomed by his fans.

“I have always believed in attempting different kinds of roles. Yes, people have seen me as the lover boy but in the last few films, I have tried different kinds of roles and people have still appreciated me,” he says.
