The hearing of the bail application filed by former minister Gali Janardhana Reddy, has been adjourned to September 25.
During the two days of arguments at the CBI court, the prosecution vehemently opposed granting of bail to Reddy claiming loss to the exchequer, by illegal mining. However, the prosecution could not complete its argument.
Janardhana Reddy completed one year of his jail term on Wednesday, and was hoping to obtain bail.
Of his one year in jail, Reddy has spent six months in Chanchalaguda jail and the rest at the Parappana Agrahara in Bangalore.
