<p>The colourful Vijayadashami procession of the gods was taken out in full police protection.<br />Idols of Kolaramma, Drupadamma, Shanimahatma, Venkateshwara Swamy, Kanaka Devaru, Anjaneya Swamy, Chowdeshwari, Someshwara, Venugopala Swamy, Beereshwara Devaru were taken out in procession to the Banni Mantapa at Kondarajanahalli Anjaneyaswamy temple.<br /><br />Fair<br />A small jathra is observed during the procession of the Utsav Murthies. Children’s toys, puffed rice, sugar candies and other savouries are sold abundantly in the jathra. <br />In the utsava organised by the Anjaneya Swamy Temple Trust hundreds of devotees from in and around Kolar took part.<br /><br />The trust members welcomed Assistant Commissioner R S Peddappaiah near the temple on Monday and presented him with the Mysore peta.<br />Later he was taken to the Banni Mantapa where he offered pooja to the banni tree under the guidance of priests.<br /><br />He inaugurated the utsava after performing the traditional rites. He axed the banni tree with the sword. Devotees thronged the place to collect the leaves of the tree.<br />Later on, the deity's were taken out in a procession. Religious rituals were performed at the temples.<br /><br />Kondarajanahalli leaders, Revenue Officer Nagaraj were present. Bandobust was provide by the police under the guidance of Circle inspector Renukaprasad.<br />Bangalore road was blocked for the plying of heavy vehicles to manage the traffic during the utsava.</p>
