Anti-Naxal Force finds no trace of 'visitors'

 There were no traces of naxals at Sinkere, Kaginahare of Hongadahalla gram panchayat limits of Sakleshpur taluk after combing operations were taken up on Friday evening.

The Anti-Naxal Force (ANF) in three teams led by ACP Shankar hadintensified their search for naxals who disappeared in the forest.

One team was handling the search at Kaginahare hills. They have taken up the combing operations in the forest from all four directions of Kaginahare, Jagata, Hongadahalla, Mavinuru, Bisile and other villages.

The naxals who had borrowed rice and salt from house of Sinkere Gowdegowda have left the items behind before escaping from the attack of the force. It is reported that they have neither been found in any villages nearby in search of food.  

ANF IGP Alok Kumar visited the residences at Sinkere which were visited by Lokesh Gowda and Gowdegowda, to gather information of the naxals.

He even visited areas of Kaginahare where the searching is underway. He was accompanied by superintendent of  police Amit Singh.
