<p>Two men were killed in two separate accidents in the City late Friday night. A youth who was visiting the City from Bhadravati was run over by a speeding car near Naganapura junction on Friday.</p>.<p> Manjunath, 28, employed as a labourer in a rice mill at Bhadravati, had come to the City a few days ago to see his relatives. He had to visit a friend’s house in Chikkatoguru on Friday evening and was returning home when the accident occurred.<br /><br />Hit by a speeding car as he attempted to cross Naganapura junction, Manjunath sustained severe head injuries. He was immediately rushed to a nearby private hospital, but succumbed to injuries late in the night. <br /><br />Electronic City Traffic Police have registered a case and arrested the driver, Kuria Kose, a software engineer employed in a prominent IT firm in the City.<br /><br />In another accident, an unidentified vehicle collided with a two-wheeler, killing one person and seriously injuring another on Hoskote Main Road on Friday night. <br /><br />Srinivasa Rao, 50, an electrician and his pillon rider, Mahesh, 25, were thrown to the side of the road in the accident. Though they were rushed to a hospital, Rao was declared brought dead.<br /><br />Mahesh is being treated in the hospital, police said. KR Puram traffic police have registered a case.</p>
