'Koppa gets Rs 660 lakh for development works'


Inaugurating the hall built in Koppa Town Panchayat on Thursday, Jeevaraj said that Ashraya Samiti will be constituted soon and houses will be given to the homeless. He said that the road widening project will be implemented in a way so that it does not give rise to any complications.

Over 2,035 BPL families in 64 villages in the taluk will be given electricity under Rajiv Gandhi Electrification Project.

Town Panchayat President Umesh Shet presided over the programme. Vice-President Vani Sathish, Standing Committee President Kishore Pejawar and others were present.
