Dairy industry in the State is likely to be affected if veterinarians discontinue their services from October 3, in case of further delay by the government in responding to their demands.
According to Dr Srinivas Reddy, president of the Karnataka veterinary doctors’ association, diseases among the cattle, especially cows, will go unattended.
“A veterinary doctor treats 30 cows on an average in a day,” he said.
