A 22-year-old, engineering student was beaten to death in Punjabi Bagh area of west Delhi.
Police discovered his body from an open plot near his house in the area.
A case of murder has been registered and police have begun probe.
According to police, Dharmender, a native of Rajasthan was living at rented accommodation in Madipur area of west Delhi.
His body was found at about 7.45 am on Sunday when a passerby called the police.
Several injury marks have been found on his body. Police have sent his body for post-mortem examination.
On account of call details, cops are questioning his friends who talked to him before the incident.
