MCC commissioner M R Ravi promised residents that action would be taken on  the complaints registered at the Janaspandana programme.

Replying to various questions raised, he said road cutting has been allowed on case by case basis. Accepting that road cutting by Jusco had taken place, he said 28 kilometres had to be asphalted. Citing the 24x7 water supply, he said it is an ambitious project and Jusco has been informed about the lacunae. The corporation has already regularised water connection to 1.2 lakh houses and was involved in removing illegal connections.

With reference to sewage water, he said tenders have been called but in some areas as no contractor had come forward, the tenders would have been called multiple times causing delay.

Mayor M C Rajeshwari, deputy mayor Mahadevappa, corporators P R Parvathi, T Girish Prasad, Shanthakumari, police commissioner K L Sudheer, ACP Vishnuvardhan and MCC officials were present.
