MLA directs action against erring drivers

 He said, these vehicles should pass on this road only during the specified time of the  day.
He was speaking at a public meeting organised by the police department here. A meeting with members of the APMC and traders regarding shifting wholesale shops to the agriculture produce marketing committee yard soon, he said.

APMC President Munilakshmamma, speaking on the occasion, sought the legislator’s co-operation in shifting the wholesale shops and vegetable market.
Town Municipal Council President A N Venugopal said that the two roads in the town are congested  and inconvenient for the public. To ease traffic flow on these roads, the electric poles which are located between the drainages and the roads should be shifted, he said. Besides, a bus stand should be constructed and a separate place should be identified for private bus stand.

Karnataka Rakshana Vedike President Bashir Ahmed, Secretary Ashwathnarayana, Town Municipal Council Member Narasimhamurthy, bus agent Chandranna and other representatives of the public discussed various problems faced by the residents.
Tahsildar Sudha, Circle Inspector Srinivasmurthy, Sub-Inspector Krishnappa and the office-bearers of the traders’ association were present.
