<p>As many as 800 passengers of the Tirupati-Chamarajanagar fast passenger train are stranded at the Kengeri station, due to protests and the bandh against the release of Cauvery water to Tamil Nadu.<br /><br /></p>.<p>The train left Tirupati Friday night and reached Kengeri Saturday morning. The loco pilots had to halt the train at the station, due to protests at Gejjalagere in Mandya district.<br /><br />Local residents went to the railway station after the news spread and offered food and water to the passengers. The train had not moved from the station till Saturday night. <br /></p>
