Big B goes 'Disco deewane'

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan gladly obliged the actors of "Student Of The Year" when they requested him to match steps with them on the new age version of "Disco deewane".

Film director Karan Johar and his actors - Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra - were on the sets of "Kaun Banega Crorepati 6", hosted by Amitabh, when they shook a leg with him.

The boys were awestruck with Big B's persona and when they made their way to the hot seat, they couldn't concentrate on the game, says a source.
Later, Sidharth and Varun requested the veteran star if he could groove a bit to their disco song from the film and he agreed. The boys taught Big B signature steps of the song, and he easily matched them.

Sapna wears pink to support Gulabi Gang
Celebrity hairstylist Sapna Bhavnani, a tomboy who wears only black-coloured clothes, went ahead and sported a hot pink sari to express her support to Gulabi Gang leader Sampat Pal. Both of them are participants on reality show "Bigg Boss 6", and are hitting it off well.

Bhavnani, who looks unique given her style statement - short, blonde hair and a body full of tattoos, seems to be quite influenced by Sampat Lal, whose wardrobe is filled with pink.

It seems the duo are hand in hand in their mission to eradicate women-related issues in and outside the "Bigg Boss" house.

SOTY a blockbuster, predicts Mahesh Bhatt

Acclaimed filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, whose daughter Alia is making her Bollywood debut with "Student Of The Year" (SOTY), feels the movie will prove to be a 'blockbuster'.

"Karan Johar's SOTY is a winner! Everything in the movie works. The three newcomers work like magic. It has lots of heart. It's a BLOCKBUSTER," Mahesh Bhatt tweeted Tuesday night.

Apart from Alia, the movie launches David Dhawan's son Varun and model-turned-actor Sidharth Malhotra.

The film's songs are already topping charts, and it is expected to get a good response upon its release Oct 19.
