<p>Deputy Commissioner and district Magistrate V Ponnuraj has issued an order in this regard. <br />The vehicles plying on the State Highway can use the alternative route, i.e, via Paichar, Sonangeri, Duggaladka and Ubaradka-Mittur during the shobhayatra. However, this diversion does not apply to the movement of government vehicles on duty and ambulances.<br />The idol of Goddess Sharada installed at Sri Chennakeshava Temple premises in Sullia Kasaba village, will be immersed during the wee hours of October 5. This will be preceded by a shobhayatra, in which around 5,000 to 7,000 devotees are expected to take part.</p>
