According to police, the deceased has been identified as Chandrashekar (28), a resident of Shivagange in Nelamangala. The injured are Gowrama (60), Nagaraj (45), Sukanya (50), Shivanna, Vinod, Renuka. All of them belonged to one family and were bound to Dharmasthala from Tumkur. A case has been registeted.
Man dies
A person succumbed to the injuries he sustained when he fell from a moving bus at Koteshwara. The deceased has been identified as Narayana Shetty. The incident occurred when the bus started moving when he was about to board the bus.
Girl ends life
A girl committed suicide by setting ablaze at Guddeyangadi Bommarabettu in Udupi taluk. The deceased has been identified as Rajeshwari. She took the extreme step as she was depressed over the death of her father. A case has been registered.
