Donations start pouring in

Donations to the CM’s relief fund have begun pouring in from various organisations, to help rehabilitate the flood victims of North Karnataka.

* The KSPCB has donated Rs 1 crore.
* The RGUHS has constituted a Disaster Management Cell to co-ordinate with medical colleges in the flood-affected areas. Employees of RGUHS have voluntarily decided to contribute one day’s salary towards relief activity.

* The BDA Employees’ Welfare Association contributed six days’ salary and Rs 25 lakh.
*  Members of the BBMP Naukarara Kendriya Sangha to contribute one day's salary.
* Bangalore City Youth Congress Committee members left the City on Monday to personally distribute food items, clothes, drinking water, blankets and mats to flood victims.
*  Sri Adichunchinagiri Mahasamstana Mutt donated Rs 10 lakh.  
The Bangalore district administration has also opened collection centres at four places - Balabrooie Government Guest House, (Ph: 22251211), Bangalore Urban DC office (22211292), Office of Add DC (22211106) and Tahasildar, Election, DC office, (22240614).
