21-year-old job aspirant raped

A 21-year-old woman has been allegedly raped in Moti Nagar of west Delhi by a placement agency owner on the pretext of providing her a job.

According to police, the victim, who hails from Jharkhand, came to the capital few days ago.
“She was in search of a job when she met the accused. He took her to a flat on the pretext of providing her a job and raped her,” the official said.

He also threatened her of dire consequences if she told anyone about the assault. However, she approachd police and registered a case of rape. Accused Bhanu Pratap was arrested on Tuesday.
