Luncheon not linked to BJP meeting says BSY

 Former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa clarified on Monday that the luncheon meeting he planned to hold with party legislators in Bangalore on Tuesday had nothing to do with the BJP leaders’ meeting with Dharmendra Pradhan, which will be  held on the same day.

Speaking to reporters at his residence, he said, “There is no need to attach political importance to my meeting. I felt I should spend some time with my well-wishers. Political issues will not be discussed.”

Replying to a query, he said, “I have not convened this meeting in the wake of Pradhan’s visit. Pradhan is in charge of Karnataka and he frequently visits Bangalore.”
