<p>The Karnataka Health Care Associations’ Federation (KHCAF) has criticised the State government for ignoring doctors while presenting Rajyotsava awards.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Addressing mediapersons here on Thursday, Dr G K Ramachandrappa, president of the Federation, alleged that the government ignored people in the noble profession and selected mainly those who were in the field of art or have political allegiance.<br /><br />“The healthcare profession, which is one of the oldest, has been wholly responsible for ensuring a healthy community. But the government ignored the contributions of the doctors this year,” said Dr Ramachandrappa. <br /><br />He said the Karnataka chapter of Indian Medical Association, AYUSH Federation of India and other organisations of medical field are unhappy with the government.</p>
