<p>An unidentified decomposed body of a woman, aged between 30 and 35 years, was found at Yamuna river bank near Geeta Colony in east Delhi where the preparations for Chhat Puja have been made.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Few people found the victim’s body while they were cleaning up the river bank for the festival on Sunday morning. “The body was in a highly decomposed condition,” said a police officer.<br /><br />The body has been sent to mortuary at Sabzi Mandi. <br /><br />“The victim might have been killed and then dumped later to the bank, however, it is too early to say anything,” said the officer. <br /><br />Police also suspect that the woman was killed somewhere else and later the body reached the Geeta Colony ghat floating in the water. <br /><br />They are questioning people living in the nearby slum area and trying to identify the victim. <br /></p>
