<p>On a day when the Supreme Court took cognizance of a PIL seeking a probe into the coalgate scam, the BJP renewed its demand that the Prime Minister should resign over the issue, while also condemning finance minister P Chidambaram’s remark that the CAG’s estimation of Rs 1,86,000 notional loss in coal block allocation would be “mythical”.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Ahead of the Parliament session on Thursday, party spokesperson Prakash Javadekar told reporters, "the BJP condemns the finance minister for attacking and mocking the CAG once again.” <br /><br />“He has done so in 2G. Now he is doing so on coal issue also,” Javadekar added.<br />He again demanded Manmohan Singh’s resignation and an impartial investigation into coal block allocation.</p>
