Yeddyurappa apprised Patil about the floods and the trail of devastation, besides the steps being taken by the State Government to provide immediate relief to the affected people, official sources said.
Meanwhile, in a letter to the President, Yeddyurappa has sought her intervention to impress upon the Centre to immediately release the necessary funds to take up relief and rehabilitation works.
